NHS Blog Doc, Tea at Ten and The Psychiatrist Blog have all taken a break from blogging.
They won't admit it, but I suspect they are all taking time off to read the new Harry Potter Book. I finished it last week and have spent the last few days catching up on the sleep I missed out on.
You'll have to click through to the comments to get my impressions, just to avoid giving away spoilers.

Goodness, what lofty company you've placed me in! In fact, I haven't had time to read HP7, and I've been plugging my ears and repeating "Don't tell me, don't tell me!" every time someone brings it up.
Having said that, I'm leaving. I'm not sticking around to overhear spoilers here!
Don't worry, I'm not really going to leave any spoilers. My impression is really that the plot of this last book is quite predictable by the end of the previous book (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince).
Plot-predictability aside, I believe that it is nevertheless impressive how JK Rowling basically wrote herself out of a hole. Whether she had written the end first, and then tried to fill the gaps, or whether she was merely trying to maintain interest until the inevitable outcome transpired, I don't know.
It's a good read, and an easy read. But as far as I'm concerned, a rather forgettable read, just like her previous books.
Cal, Of Short White Coats and Stethoscopes, has spoilers and comments about book 7, when you do get around to musing over it :-)
A bit of time off can be a good thing, and catching up on reading is certainly a good .... Harry Potter in the blogosphere!
